As Chief Product Officer, Gabriel leads Ripjar’s product management with the responsibility for setting and delivering the company’s product strategy. With 20 years of product management and marketing experience, Gabriel understands the challenges of developing sophisticated software solutions while balancing innovation with customer needs. Prior to Ripjar, Gabriel was Vice President, Product Management at FICO overseeing the development of the company’s next generation fraud and financial crime solution. He has also served as Vice President, Product Management and Marketing at WorldPay (now FIS).

Jeremy is a former intelligence professional and data scientist with the British government’s signals intelligence agency, GCHQ. He has extensive experience in complex analysis and visualisation of large, structured and unstructured data sets to generate critical insights for national security and the detection of serious crimes.

Maya is a Managing Director at FINTRAIL, a global financial crime consultancy that works with a broad range of financial institutions to ensure both regulatory compliance and effectiveness.  She has a strong background in promoting data-driven, tech-enabled compliance solutions that go beyond tick-box compliance to produce tangible results in identifying and reducing financial crime.  In particular she oversees projects to advise on the design of fincrime programmes for new or expanding firms, and the adoption of new technology solutions and improved use of data.   Prior to working at FINTRAIL, Maya worked at HSBC and Deutsche Bank in both London and the Middle East, where she led regional teams conducting financial crime assurance, business intelligence, and money laundering and corruption investigations.

As executive vice president and general manager, Risk & Research at Dow Jones, Joel Lange is responsible for the strategic roadmap for the Risk & Compliance and Factiva businesses.

He rejoined Dow Jones in 2021 after four years at ION Analytics, where he led the Risk & Compliance division through a period of significant organic and inorganic growth across a product portfolio focusing on Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Corruption, CyberSecurity and Enhanced Due Diligence Reports.

Previous to this, Joel spent six years at Dow Jones, serving as general manager of Risk & Compliance for four years, in addition to roles with WSJ, Factiva and other projects for the Business Intelligence group.

Joel has nearly 20 years of experience in the compliance and transaction operations industry holding senior management, product, sales and professional service roles at ION Analytics, Dow Jones, LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Broadridge. He is a regular speaker on compliance topics at conferences around the world. Joel holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Minnesota and a MSC in International Finance from the University of Westminster.

Brian has 30 years’ experience in Financial Services working across a range of Asset Managers and Platforms in a mixture of Operations, Risk and Compliance roles. Financial Crime prevention has been the major focus for the last 15 years, with Brian having been DMLRO at Fidelity for the last 4 years. Brian is well known in the industry through his active participation in a number of industry peer discussion groups, and currently acts as deputy chair of the TISA Financial Crime Working group.

Joe is responsible for the vision, strategy and delivery of solutions across Ripjar’s technology stack. He has been an integral part of the Ripjar team since the company’s inception, scaling our technology and engineering team to counter evolving threats. Prior to Ripjar, Joe worked in a number of technology, research and analytical roles in national security. He specialises in developing scalable AI systems to derive insights from structured and unstructured data.

As the General Manager of Labyrinth Screening, Simon oversees the direction and execution of our Labyrinth Screening business. Prior to working at Ripjar, he specialised in data analytics and capability development within the British government. He has also created and led technology across a number of sectors as the co-founder and CEO of a knowledge-sharing startup and a software engineer in the financial services industry.
