London, UK – 27 June 2025 – Ripjar today announced that BT, the leading UK fixed and mobile communications provider, has integrated Ripjar’s Cyber Investigator to enhance its threat intelligence capabilities and optimise its incident response.
Given BT’s reach across UK telecoms infrastructure and its wide range of customers, the business requires a dual-purpose platform to address both strategic long-term threat investigations and immediate incident response.
The comprehensive abilities of Cyber Investigator to perform investigations and speed up incident response were key to BT’s selection of Ripjar.
The platform’s scalability and interoperability mean BT’s existing systems and tools can be integrated seamlessly, which further aligned with its needs.
The project, the first collaboration between Ripjar and BT, is set to span across the next three years and will be rolled out in phases.
Les Anderson, Global Chief Information Security Officer at BT Group, said: “We operate and maintain some of the UK’s most critical national infrastructure, so we are constantly investing in tools that mitigate cyber threats and criminal activity. Partnering with Ripjar on this innovative project provides us with a cutting-edge platform that not only addresses today’s cyber challenges, but also lays the groundwork for tackling future threats effectively and efficiently.”
Tom Obermaier, CEO at Ripjar, said: “Through this partnership, we are committed to supporting BT with both its threat intelligence and incident response capabilities while also assisting the business against new and emerging threats. The partnership is testament to our ambitious growth and expansion plans as we look to bring the Ripjar technology stack to more diverse markets.”
